National Storytelling week:

We are passionate about developing our children’s oracy and reading skills so we are excited to be taking part in National Storytelling week – a week dedicated to oral storytelling. National Storytelling week runs from 29th January to 2nd February and we will be celebrating this week in many different and exciting ways across school.

As part of our celebrations children and parents have been busy making storytelling boxes which they have used to help them to tell a story to their classes.

Thank you everyone for helping to make our Summer Fair a big success!  We raised just over £1300 for our School Funds!

Pray for Peace

We welcome any contributions from parents to our prayer wall in the hall.  School has been overwhelmed by the love and compassion shown by the children to all those who have been affected by recent tragic events in Manchester, Finsbury Park and Grenfell Tower

Children, parents, staff and governors at Keighley St. Andrew's CE Primary and Nursery School have paid tribute to the victims of Manchester by writing  prayers and messages of love, compassion and hope. Children, staff and  parents prayed together and observed a minute's silence, led by parent governor, Amjid Ahmed.  A group of children also visited Keighley Shared Church to read out prayers and messages of hope at a service for shoppers.
